Shopify · Meta ads · GA4 · South Africa
Conversion Recovery puts server-side Meta CAPI, a clean GA4 and a tracking audit on your Shopify store, so the ROAS in Ads Manager matches the money in your bank. Run by one builder in Johannesburg.

Ads Manager says 1.4, Shopify says you're profitable, GA4 says something else. Nobody can decide whether to scale.
Since iOS 14.5 the browser pixel misses a large share of iPhone buyers. Meta's algorithm optimises on what it can see, so it learns from the wrong people.
Under-reported purchases mean campaigns get cut too early and winners never scale. The waste is invisible because the data is.
The pixel was set up by the theme, the app, an old agency and a cousin. Events fire twice, or not at all, and no one knows which.
What you get
A fixed monthly fee covers the audit, the server-side setup, GA4 and ongoing monitoring, so the fix stays fixed when Shopify or Meta change something.
What fires, what's duplicated, what's missing, and what it's costing you. Written in plain language with screenshots from your own accounts.
Purchase, add-to-cart, checkout and lead events sent from the server with event_id deduplication, so each sale is counted once, including iPhone buyers.
GA4 e-commerce events that match Shopify's order count, a monthly reconciliation and a Monday report you can read in two minutes.
Tracking breaks quietly when a theme updates or an app is added. We watch event match quality and counts weekly and fix drift before it costs you.
The weekly system
Anyone can sell you a website. Then what? A Launch site comes with the same growth system I run every day in my own businesses, worked on every week — because the investment only pays back when people find you, book, and come back.

Proof, not promises
Two South African clients running paid ads. Same fix: server-side events, deduplicated, reconciled against real sales.
Figures from the clients' own Google Search Console, GA4, Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager accounts. Periods stated per number. Your results depend on your market, your offer and your ad budget; no result is guaranteed.
How it works
You keep running ads. The whole process runs on WhatsApp.
Fill in the form above: business name, a link to anything you have (Instagram counts) and your WhatsApp number. Takes under a minute.
Today
Within 24 hours Renaldo sends you a real homepage mockup, designed for your store, with your name, services and area on it. Not a template screenshot.

Questions stores ask
Octa360 at R950 a month covers tracking and monitoring on your existing store, with no setup fee. Launch at R3,500 a month (12-month term, no setup fee) is for stores that also want the storefront rebuilt, with tracking included. Partner from R8,000 a month adds managed Meta and Google ads and SEO. All prices in Rand, published openly.
The audit lands within 24 hours; server-side CAPI and GA4 are live within 7 days of your go-ahead. Most of the week is waiting for Meta's event match quality to settle so we can confirm deduplication is clean before we hand over.
The Conversions API sends purchase events from your server to Meta, so sales still count when the browser pixel is blocked by iOS, ad blockers or a slow checkout. Done properly, each event carries the same event_id from browser and server so Meta deduplicates it. Done badly, you double-count. The audit tells you which you have.
It's a good start, but it often double-counts alongside an older pixel, misses custom events, and can't reconcile against GA4 or your bank. We keep what works, remove what duplicates, and add the server-side events and GA4 mapping the app doesn't do. The audit shows the before and after in your own Events Manager.
It fixes the measurement; the ads still have to be good. What changes is that Meta's optimisation learns from every real buyer, not just the ones it could see, and you can scale winners with confidence. For XPN, ROAS went from 1.98 across the period to 2.32 in the two months after the fix.
Yes. Everything lives in your Meta Business Manager, your GA4 property and your Shopify store. If you leave, the tracking stays. We don't route events through a tool you have to keep paying for.
Yes, when it's set up with consent and hashed identifiers, which is how we do it. Customer data is hashed before it's sent, consent is respected, and your privacy policy is updated to describe the tracking. We'll give you the wording.
Octa360 is month to month; Launch is a 12-month term with no setup fee. You can cancel Octa360 at any month end. Launch runs month to month after the term, with 20 business days' notice as the Consumer Protection Act provides.
A note from the builder
If you can't trust the purchase number, every other decision in Ads Manager is a guess.
I'm Renaldo Bothma. I build and run Octa Studio from Johannesburg on my own: no account managers, no outsourced developers. I run the tracking and ads for XPN Nutrition and the botthms Wellness Hub, so the numbers on this page come from stores and campaigns I manage every week, not a slide deck.
The audit is free because it's the fastest way for both of us to know if there's something worth fixing. If I don't think a site will move the needle for you, I'll say so on the first message and point you somewhere better.
Store name, a link, your WhatsApp number. The audit comes back within 24 hours.
